Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arburim Iseni

Associate Professor. Dr. Arburim Iseni is proud to be working as an English Morphology and Academic Writing Professor at the University of Tetova since 1999. He is an experienced editor of many international journals with a demonstrated history of working in the research industry. He is very skillful in Intercultural Communication, Translation, Foreign Languages, Lecturing, and Editing. He is also a strong media and communication professional with a Doctor of Philological Sciences focused in Applied Linguistics: Second Language Acquisition from Southeast European University – Tetovo.
Prof. Dr. Vilma Tafani

Prof. dr. Vilma Tafani graduated University of Tirana, Faculty of Foreign Languages for English Language. She has a master’s degree for Psychology and Pedagogy from the Faculty of Social Sciences, UT. She holds the degree of “Doctor of Science”. Prof. Tafani has worked as a professor of Methodology and Linguistics at “Aleksander Xhuvani” University of Elbasan, Albania for more than 25 years. She is a twice recipient of Fulbright post-doctorate Scholarship for research at SUNY Fredonia, 2001 and as a Visiting Fulbright Scholar at Hunter College, NYC, 2009. Prof. Dr. Tafani has a long experience in teaching and research. She has given her contribution for the pre-service and in-service teacher training. Due to her expertise, performance, managerial abilities and excellent communication skills, she was elected Head of the Department and the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the University of Elbasan. She has presented several papers in many national and international conferences in the region and beyond, as in USA (San Antonio, Dallas, New York City, Denver, Philadelphia, New Orleans, etc.), UK, Italy, Germany, France, Philippines, Serbia, Croatia, Greece, Bulgaria, etc. She is the author of a lot of textbooks as “Teaching English through Media”, “Teaching Skills”, “Teaching and Learning Methodology of Languages”, “Observation Skills”, “Elbasani in the eyes of the foreigners”, “Welcome to Ambri” (grades 3-5), “A Trip to Ambri” (grades 6-9) and many other books. She is a TESOL member since 1995, presented in lot of TESOL Conventions, and served at TESOL Standards Committee for 6 years (2008-2014). Prof. Tafani has been a Guest Speaker at Virginia Tech University, NIU, MIT, etc. She has also published a series of scientific articles in many prestigious magazines and journals. Prof. Dr. Vilma Tafani has coordinated several projects with US Universities and TEMPUS Projects. She has been continuously interested in improving the quality of teaching and learning methods. Her most contribution in the field of teaching and learning English and Applied Linguistics is valuable, especially for the future-to-be teachers. Dr. Tafani has been an adjunct professor in many other universities in Albania, Macedonia, Kosova, Harvest Academy, NJ, USA, etc. She has worked as a part-time psychological advisor at the Women’s Forum, Elbasan, Albania. She has also worked with a lot of translation and interpretation agencies in USA.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Iris Klosi (Kokoli)

Associate Professor. Dr. Iris Klosi (Kokoli) is a full-time senior lecturer at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Foreign Languages, English Department since 2000. In 2003-2005 she contributed as a part-time lecturer of translation to the State University of Tetovo, North Macedonia. She graduated from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Foreign Languages, English Department in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in British and American Studies with her thesis “Crime, Truth and Morality in Iris Murdoch´s Novels”. She graduated with a Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Applied Linguistics/Translation with her Thesis: “Translation Criticism Aspects of Arthur Miller´s Play “The Crucible” in Albanian”. She graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) in Applied Linguistics/Translation in 2012 with her dissertation “Aspects of Translation Criticism into Albanian and Stage Performance of Some British and American Plays” having on the focus Arthur Miller and George Bernard Shaw´s plays. She teaches courses of British Studies, Translation and Translation Criticism, Translation and Interpretation, Translation of Terminology, to both bachelor and master students. She has participated in many trainings, research and Erasmus Plus teaching and staff mobility offered by the University of Westminster, London, UK, US Department of State, American Embassy, British Council, Albania, KodolányiJános University, Budapest Hungary, Debrecen University, Debrecen, Hungary, etc. She is a member of the editorial board of Freeside Europe Scientific Journal, Budapest Hungary since 2019. She has participated in more than thirty scientific national and international conferences. Many of her papers and articles have been published in Impact Factor and Scopus Indexed Journals. She has performed various literary translations. She is an official translator at the Ministry of Justice, Republic of Albania. She has been a member of organizing committees for various national and international scientific conferences. In 2021 she was a member of the working group for the Strategy of Internationalization drafted and developed by the University of Tirana, Faculty of Foreign Languages. She was awarded her Associate Professor Academic Title on 4th April 2021.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Armela Panajoti

Associate Professor. Dr. Armela Panajoti is an associate professor at the Department of Foreign Languages, University of Vlora, Albania. She has been working at UV ever since she graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages, University of Vlora, Albania with a Gold Medal (an award given to an Albanian student whose grades are all ten – highest Albanian grade). She completed her doctoral thesis on Conrad at the Department of English, University of Tirana, Albania. She is currently a member of the Academic Senate, dean of the Faculty of Humanitiesat the University of Vora, chair of the Albanian Society for the Study of English (ASSE), general editor of its journal, in esse: English Studies in Albania, a member of the Board of the European Society for the Study of English (ESSE). Dr Panajoti has published extensively in a number of peer-reviewed journals and book chapters, and has spoken at, and organised many international conferences. Her research interests are mainly concentrated on literary and cultural studies as most of her teaching and research activities have revolved around them. She has particularly dealt with matters which explore the relationship between language and literature, language and culture, and intercultural competence and communication.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Hysen Kasumi

Assistant Professor. Dr. Hysen Kasumi was born on September 3rd, 1976, in Rahovicë – Preshevë. He graduated at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Department of English Language and Literature. He completed his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the European University of Tirana, Department of Psychology – Pedagogy, with the topic: “Effective strategy and methods in increasing the quality of English language acquisition”. Hysen Kasumi has a long work experience,and since 2000 he has worked as an English teacher in several private and public schools such as “The Cambridge School”, “Hoxhë Kadri Prishtina” High School, as well as in several institutions of the Republic of Kosovo such as: National Bank, Ministry of Works of the Interior, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Cadastral Agency of Kosovo, the Parliament of Kosovo, etc. He has also worked as a translator for several international organizations such as: OSCE and Doctors Without Borders. Professor Kasumi worked as a lecturer at the University of Pristina – Faculty of Medicine from 2008 to 2016 teaching the course “Medical English”. As an English language lecturer, HysenKasumi has been working at AAB College since 2012, where he also teaches the course “English Language Teaching Methodology”, “Speaking Skills” and “Research Methodology” and “Writing Diploma Thesis”. Hysen Kasumi has participated in many international and national conferences with his expertise in the field of Teaching Methodology. Hysen Kasumi is the dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at AAB College. Some of his publications are: Applicability of Kosovo Curriculum for English language in upper secondary schools; Class size in correlation with students’ performance in English language; Communicative language teaching and its impact on students’ performance; The implementation of Kosovo Curricula regarding the English Language Teaching; Teacher’s proficiency, and the communicative approach in enhancing students’ performance in English language learning; Correlations between skills in Communicative Language Teaching and Engage Study Activate Method in Kosovo Schools; Components that Enhance Class Motivation in a Class Situation.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hyreme Gurra

Currently she holds the post of the Associated Professor, PhD in the Department of English Language and Literature at the “University of Tetova”. Mrs Gurra graduated the course of Teacher’s training on a study program and majored in ‘English Language and Literature” at the University of Prishtina in Kosovë. The secondary education, she graduated Master studies in Diplomacy and International Relations in “Westminster University” London, UK. PHD studies at “University “St. Cyril and Methodius” Skopje The Faculty of Philology “Blaze Koneski” Skopje. Prof. Dr. Lazar Stošić

Prof. Dr. Lazar Stošić, is a university professor and the President of the Association for the Development of Science, Engineering and Education, in Serbia. He also works as a leading researcher at the Center for Scientific Competence of DSTU, Department of Scientific and Technical Information and Scientific Publications Don State Technical University, Russia. Lazar has over ten years’ experience in scholarly publishing. His expertise includes editorial workflow management, conference organization, web technologies, web design, indexing, XML production, SEO, digital marketing, and new media technologies. He is CrossRef Ambassador for Europe.Lazar is Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Cognitive Research in Science, Engineering and Education (WoS and Scopus-Q2), and member and reviewer of many international scientific journals, providing technical support for submission of metadata to Crossref and use of Crossref tools.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Festim Halili

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Festim Halili currently is leading the Fund for Innovation and Technology Development in the position of director. In the academia he is an associate professor teaching Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Database Systems and other courses. He is author of more than 50 scientific papers in the field of Service Oriented Computing and other related subjects. He held several important positions and contributed to the development and progress of the society. In 2016 he was Deputy Prime Minister, whilst in 2019 he was director of Railway-infrastructure, in 2021 director of PE National Broadcasting. He is engaged in many international scientific projects through which he develops programs for experience exchanges, know-how ideas and perspectives.
